本期聚焦：
1. 2022年11月11日，IUGG提名委员会公布了2023-2027年度IUGG执行委员会和财政委员会成员候选人名单，选举将于2023年在德国柏林举行的IUGG大会上进行。IUGG成员国或委员会可以在2023年4月11日前向提名委员会提出进一步的提名、建议。由于财政委员会仍有两个空缺职位，当务之急是从现任或前任经认可的理事会代表中提名这两个职位的候选人。
2. 2023年IUGG大会事项：会议住宿客房在2023年7月10日至20日期间按协议价提供，其他日期将视客房情况而定。会议注册可以是一天和四天，早期注册将在2023年4月28日之前提供。有关大会的更多信息，请访问IUGG 2023网站或联系IUGG 2023秘书处。
3.第二届IAG第四专业委员会“定位与应用”研讨会2022年9月5日至8日在德国波茨坦举行。来自20多个国家的74人参会注册，其中28人线上参加。会议安排了51个口头报告和7个海报。本次会议得到了IUGG的资助
4. IAVCEI科学大会于2023年1月29日至2月3日在新西兰罗托鲁瓦举行，共有1080人参加了大会，其中现场参会860人，线上参会220人。大会共收到1258篇投稿摘要，青年科学家的报告占了报告总数的60%。
